Another story of how great work leads to more great work… I was asked to mix a couple singles for the Japanese Rock Pop group HOWL BE QUIET. Normally this would have been easy, but my family and I were on a cross country road trip. Luckily I always carry a portable mixing rig with me… so we set up in our relatives basement in Iowa and spent a couple days hammering out the singles. The band and label were thrilled with the result and subsequently asked me to mix the rest of the record. Three of the songs I mixed ended up being singles for the band. It was such a wonderful experience to work on such a creative project with such talented musicians.
