@dcappellamusic is the first purely acapella group I have worked with and it was such an amazing and growing experience. Not only did I get to work hand in hand with the royalty of the acapella scene @dekesharon and @theotheredboyer at Resonate studios recording the vocalists with the one and only @jeffmiyahara , but I also got to bring some of my kids favorite @disney songs to life…Albeit in a language they don’t understand! 😂

Mixing these 5 songs was something new and exciting. Bringing pop music sensibilities and sounds to purely vocal recordings was a really fun way to stretch and grow. I examined the most popular recordings in the genre and then tried to see how, while reflecting the current aesthetic, I could bring something unique to the final product.

I truly feel blessed to continually have opportunities to grow and expand my palette. Having the opportunity to work with such incredibly talented people and create something magical makes the entire process so rewarding.
