KC Porter is an icon in the Latin music scene (and music scene in general for that matter). His production and writing credits are a who’s who of industry royalty including Michael Jackson, Ricky Martin, Santana, Sting, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Celine Dion… and the list goes on, and on, and on!

I’d been delighted to have the chance to work with him several times over the last few years including mixing a song for Santana’s ‘Supernatural – Legacy Edition’ album. All I can say, is that KC is a beast at what he does.

So when he reached out and told me about his plans to FINALLY make an album of his own (with him as the artist) and asked whether I might be able to mix some of the songs for him, I obviously accepted! I mean… really… who wouldn’t?

I was honored to mix several songs on the record including: Sera, Virgen del Sol, Ruisenor, and Quisiera; the last of which features the incomparable vocal stylings of Gaby Moreno. Such an exquisite album by such incredibly talented producers, musicians, and creators. I hope you enjoy ‘Cruzanderos’ as much as I enjoyed taking part in bringing it to life.
