Mixing FAQ.

What does a mixing engineer do?

A mixing engineer takes the raw multi-track recordings of a song — vocals, drums, bass, guitars, synths — and shapes them into a finished, balanced, emotionally compelling record. The mix decides what the listener hears first, how loud the vocal sits, how wide the stereo image feels, and whether the song hits like a hit.

How much does a professional mix cost?

Pricing is per project and depends on track count, genre, and revision scope. Submit the Work With Me form for a quote tailored to your release.

How long does it take to mix a song?

A first-pass mix typically takes 5–10 days from receipt of session files. Revisions add another 1–3 days. Rush turnarounds available case-by-case.

Do you mix in stems or full multi-track?

Both. Full multi-track for new productions; stem mixing (4–8 grouped buses) when a production is 90% there but needs a final pro pass for clarity and competitive level.

What genres do you mix?

Pop, Latin, K-pop, R&B, rock, electronic, and film/TV. Grammy and Latin Grammy recognition across genres, 400+ artists worldwide.
