01 · The big pictureWhose work this is.

Jon Rezin is a mix engineer, mastering engineer, and producer. The records, songs, films, and television shows referenced on this site were created by — and remain the intellectual property of — the artists, songwriters, producers, labels, publishers, studios, networks, and other rights holders who own them. Jon's contribution to those works (mixing, mastering, vocal production, etc.) is one part of a larger creative collaboration.

This site is a portfolio documenting professional credits, not a distributor of the underlying works.

02 · Album art, photos, videoUsed with respect.

All album artwork, single covers, music video stills, promotional photography, performance footage, film/TV stills, and broadcast imagery displayed anywhere on jonrezin.com — including the discography, artists, film & tv, videos, blog, case-studies, and credits-stats pages — are copyright their respective rights holders. Specifically:

Album, EP, and single artwork: copyright the recording artist, label, and/or art director credited on the release.
Music video thumbnails and stills: copyright the artist, label, video production company, and/or director.
Film & TV stills: copyright the production company, network, distributor, and/or studio.
Photography of artists in session, on stage, or in promotional contexts: copyright the photographer or photo agency credited.
Logos, brand marks, and trade names of third-party companies (labels, networks, streaming services, awards organizations): copyright/trademark their respective owners.

These materials appear on this site under what Jon believes to be a good-faith claim of fair use for editorial, portfolio, and credit-attribution purposes — to document professional work history. No commercial use of the underlying works is made or implied. No endorsement by the rights holders is claimed.

03 · Embedded mediaStreaming embeds.

This site includes embedded media from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Deezer, and other streaming platforms. These embeds are served directly from those platforms under their respective terms of service and remain copyright the platform and the underlying rights holders. Jon Rezin does not host, copy, or redistribute the audio or video content represented in those embeds.

04 · Jon's own workWhat Jon owns.

The text, written commentary, blog posts, case-study analysis, photography of Jon himself, the Jon Rezin name and logo, the site design and code, and any audio examples explicitly created by Jon for this site (e.g. mix walkthroughs, before/after comparisons that Jon has the right to share) are copyright © Jon Rezin, all rights reserved. Reuse without written permission is not permitted.

05 · Notice & takedownIf you're a rights holder.

Jon takes copyright seriously and respects the rights of artists, photographers, labels, and other creators. If you are a rights holder and believe a specific piece of content on this site is being used in a way you would like changed or removed, please get in touch and Jon will respond within 48 hours.

To submit a takedown request — email [email protected] with the URL of the page, a description of the work in question, your relationship to the rights holder, and your preferred resolution (remove, replace, add credit, etc.). Per the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512), a valid notice should include a physical or electronic signature, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the rights holder.

Counter-notices are also accepted at the same address. Repeated infringement reports against the same content will result in permanent removal from this site.

06 · Music samples & case-study audioBefore/after audio.

Where this site presents short musical excerpts (typically 30 seconds or less) for the purpose of illustrating a mixing, mastering, or production technique — for example in case studies — those excerpts are used in good faith under fair-use principles for commentary, criticism, and educational purposes. They remain copyright the rights holders of the underlying recordings. Where requested by a rights holder, an excerpt will be removed promptly.

07 · Press & mediaFor journalists.

The press kit contains photos and logos approved for editorial use, with a required attribution of "Photo: Jon Rezin." Use of those specific assets in a published article does not require additional permission. For higher-resolution alternates, original-source files, or unusual usage requests, contact [email protected].

08 · TrademarksNames & marks.

Third-party names mentioned on this site — including but not limited to record labels, broadcast networks, streaming services, awards organizations, and software/hardware brands — are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. Their appearance on this site is for descriptive and editorial purposes only and does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership unless explicitly stated.
